Clinical Biography

Melissa Rizo, RN, serves as a Program Coordinator for the Dell Children’s Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Center within UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children's, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin.

Melissa Rizo earned her associate's degree from Austin Community College.

Melissa Rizo has served as a neurosciences floor registered nurse, pediatric travel nurse, and hospice admissions nurse. She is particularly interested in referral triaging and processing to ensure patients receive timely, coordinated, and individualized care.

Melissa Rizo is a program coordinator with Dell Children's Medical Center.
