Katherine Butler, MD

Clinical Biography

Katherine Butler, MD is a board-certified general pediatrician with Dell Children's Medical Group Practice, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She treats and cares children from birth through age 21, seeing patients for both routine well care visits and sick visits. Dr. Butler's clinical interests include newborn care and early childhood education and literacy. Additionally, she is an assistant professor with the Department of Pediatrics at Dell Medical School, The University of Texas at Austin. She loves teaching medical students and pediatric residents with hands-on learning during clinic.

Dr. Butler studied at Texas Tech University for both undergraduate and medical training and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Oklahoma. She completed additional training to become a Certified Lactation Counselor through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice.

Katherine Butler, MD is a pediatrician with Dell Children's Medical Group. Dr. Butler will begin seeing patients at the Mueller and Cedar Park locations beginning March 3, 2024.
