Jennifer Lehmberg, MD

Clinical Biography

Jennifer Lehmberg, MD, is a board-certified pediatric cardiac critical care intensivist in the Texas Center of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in caring for children who need pediatric cardiac intensive care at the Dell Children’s Cardiac Care Unit. Additionally, Dr. Lehmberg is an assistant professor for the Dell Medical School Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Lehmberg earned her bachelor's degree in Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She completed a residency in general pediatrics at St. Louis Children's Hospital through Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Rady Children’s Hospital - San Diego through the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, and a fellowship in pediatric intensive care at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia through the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Lehmberg is passionate about medical education, improving care quality, and making sure cardiac patients and their families receive comprehensive support through partnerships with Palliative Care Medicine.

Dr. Lehmberg is a pediatric cardiac critical care intensivist with UT Health Austin.
