Clinical Biography
Denise Johnson, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in Women’s Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. Additionally, Dr. Johnson is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Women’s Health at The University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Johnson earned her bachelor’s degree in human biology with honors from Stanford University and her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Johnson's clinical interests include patient safety and quality improvement. She has been involved in several global health projects, including an elective obstetrics and gynecology placement at the Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone, Botswana.
Dr. Johnson is an obstetrician-gynecologist with UT Health Austin.
