Clinical Biography

Charlotte Peeters, PA-C, is a licensed physician assistant in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in the management of surgical inpatients in addition to assisting in the operating room and treating patients in the outpatient clinic.

Charlotte Peeters earned her bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and her master's degree in in physician assistant studies from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She also completed a physician assistant fellowship in pediatric surgery at Texas Children's Hospital.

Charlotte Peeters' clinical interests include caring for patients with heart failure and single ventricle heart defects through the IMPACT program, which is a home monitoring program for high-risk infants who are between the stages of their single ventricle palliation. She is also passionate about Global Health and research. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistant, the American College of Cardiology Cardiovascular Team, the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiovascular Surgery, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
