Charley Peterson, PT, DPT, is a licensed pelvic floor physical therapist in Women’s Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. She specializes in bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and pelvic floor dysfunction for individuals of all genders.

Charley Peterson earned bachelor's degree in the Plan II Liberal Arts Honors from The University of Texas at Austin and her doctor of physical therapy degree from Texas State University. She completed training for pelvic health levels 1, 2, and 3 and earned the Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (CAPP) from the American Physical Therapy Association's Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. She has completed additional training in male pelvic health, vulvodynia, and pediatric pelvic health as well as a 200-hour yoga teacher training.

Charley Peterson’s research and clinical interests include improving awareness of pelvic floor dysfunction. She has spoken at local clinics, pregnancy fitness groups, and patient support groups. She has also helped develop educational videos and webinars for MyPFM, a pelvic health educational non-profit organization. She is passionate about creating a comfortable, inclusive space where patients feel fully heard and can take charge of their treatment. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy.
