Barbara Deglomine, MS, LCSW

Clinical Biography

Barbara Deglomine, MS, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between UT Health Austin and Dell Children’s Medical Center. She is also a part of UT Health Austin’s Health Social Work care team. She specializes in psychosocial support for pediatric cardiac patients, specifically heart transplant patients and their families.

Deglomine earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Auburn University. She completed a master’s degree in social work from North Carolina State University.

Deglomine has experience working with children and families with life-threatening illness at leading pediatric hospitals in the U.S., including Duke University Hospital. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Deglomine is a licensed clinical social worker with UT Health Austin.
