Clinical Biography

Ana Teresa Atiles, BSN, RN, CPN, serves as a Program Coordinator for the Dell Children’s Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Center within UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children's, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in coordinating multidisciplinary care for pediatric patients with epilepsy, optimizing their experience in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, and supporting families during transitions from inpatient to outpatient care.

Ana Teresa Atiles earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Virginia.

Ana Teresa Atiles began her nursing career at Dell Children’s Medical Center as a bedside nurse on the surgical/trauma unit. She earned her board certification and received multiple DAISY Awards for compassionate care. She also trained as a charge nurse and served as a preceptor and peer mentor to new nurses. Her clinical interests include improving health systems and patient care pathways. She actively contributes to data-driven programmatic improvements alongside her team and is committed to supporting patients and families throughout their epilepsy care journey.
