Kate Walsh, LCSW

Clinical Biography

Kate Walsh, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in UT Health Austin Pediatric Psychiatry at Dell Children’s, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s and UT Health Austin. She specializes in counseling and crisis intervention with youth and their families and practices within the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program.

Kate earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from The University of Miami and a Master of Social Work degree from New York University.

Kate has extensive experience working with individuals and families in acute medical and psychiatric environments as well as in outpatient mental health settings. Kate is dedicated to providing evidence-based mental health services to youth and their families, integrating a solution-focused and strengths-based approach when assisting them in navigating transitions, as well as a wide range of social and emotional issues.
