Briana Wells, LCSW

Briana Wells, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with UT Health Austin Pediatric Psychiatry at Dell Children's, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She provides counseling services to individuals and families enrolled in the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program. She is also a part of UT Health Austin’s Integrated Behavioral Health care team. Briana works collaboratively with Dell Medical School's Department of Health Social Work and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Briana Wells earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, where she graduated from The Honors College and summa cum laude. Briana earned a Master of Science in Social Work degree with a clinical concentration from The University of Texas at Austin. During her graduate studies, Briana completed internships with both Communities In Schools of Central Texas and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Briana has extensive experience working with individuals and families in both acute medical and psychiatric settings.

Briana Wells is dedicated to providing evidence-based mental health services to youth, individuals, and families in the context of their communities and with an emphasis on strengths.
