Sai Krishna Surapa Raju, MD, is a board-certified pediatric critical care medicine specialist with expertise in cardiac intensive care in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. He specializes in pre-operative care and post-operative monitoring for patients in the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit with congenital and acquired heart diseases. Additionally, Dr. Surapa Raju is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Pediatrics.

Dr. Surapa Raju earned his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in Secunderabad, India. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Driscoll Children's Hospital as well as fellowships in both pediatric critical care and pediatric cardiac critical care at the Children’s of Alabama/University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also a Simulation Fellow of the Pediatric Simulation Center at Children's of Alabama.

Dr. Surapa Raju’s research interests include simulation-based medical education and incorporating immersive learning in teamwork training, systems improvement, and patient safety.

Dr. Surapa Raju is a pediatric critical care medicine specialist with UT Health Austin.
