Amber Armstrong, RN, MSN, AGACNP-BC, is a licensed nurse practitioner in Digestive Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. She specializes in providing patients with general gastroenterology care. Additionally, Amber Armstrong is a health professional specialist in the Dell Medical School Department of Internal Medicine.

Amber Armstrong earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Austin and her master’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She also earned a post-master’s certificate as an adult nurse practitioner in acute care from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Additionally, she earned her adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner certification and is a certified clinical nurse leader and a certified sexual assault nurse examiner for adults and adolescents.

Amber Armstrong’s clinical interests include colon cancer awareness and screening, function disorders, and holistic care. She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and involved in many local gastroenterology education networks.
